About Me

I am a mathematician and computer scientist based in Gothenburg.

In June 2026, I received my PhD in computer science from Chalmers University of Technology, defending my thesis entitled: "Knowledge Models and Inference Frameworks for Scientific Discovery".

My research during my PhD was directed toward developing machine intelligence for robot scientists. For a flavour of what this entails, I suggest reading this paper!

In 2015, I graduated from the University of Oxford with a master's (MMath) in mathematics. My specialisation was applied mathematics and modelling – fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, stability of dynamical systems, geoscience, and biology – and I wrote my bachelor and master year projects on volcanic island formation and surface tension respectively.

I have four years of experience as a data analyst, delivering against both fast-paced projects and strategic planning. I am also an experienced educator with approximately 1000 hours of classroom teaching – high school mathematics lessons, professional training delivery, and academic lecturing, teaching, and supervision.
